You were [name]. The awkward, mostly quiet girl of the group. Well, the fifteenth that remained anyway. Two students were now gone for good. Dead. Besides, your talent was being the Ultimate [talent], which wasn't too bad. It was almost weird how much you loved your talent and how skilled you were in that department.

The person you had gotten closer to so far was in fact Nagito, but his personality completely changed at the class trial, and he became some sort of psycho. What even happened to that boy? Now he was being kept in the old building, tied up and all alone. You kind of felt sorry for him... No! You can't! It was his fault that two people died! His influence! Wow, he wasn't even near you and he was still playing mind games.

"Okay, so someone needs to bring food to Nagito since I have business to attend to." The voice of Mihiru spoke as you, Hajime, and herself stood in the restaurant. Well, you were just sat in a corner as usual listening to their conversation.

"I'll do it." You said quietly and immediately before even thinking.

"Hm?" Mihiru asked, turning to look at you with a puzzled expression.

"He's- He was my friend. Maybe I can talk some sense into him. Plus, I've really not got anything to do today, unlike you guys." You explained, faking a smile.

"Really? Well, um, okay! Just be careful, I guess. He's kinda crazy." Mihiru replied as you stood up, handing you a tray with toast and a carton of milk on it - nothing special. He didn't even deserve this food. But then again, if he starved to death at all of your fault, it would still be considered murder. Hajime simply nodded once, not arguing with your choice.

"Will do. Cya 'round." You stated, before walking out onto the balcony and down the outside stairs. You went up to the old building and opened the door, walking in when Monomi appeared in front of you, almost making you drop the food. She began rambling on about how you shouldn't be in here and things you'd already heard a million times.

"Chill. I know he's here. I gotta feed him." You scoffed.

"Oh, I see. Well, okay then! Bye bye!" Monomi exclaimed, before disappearing into thin air. Stupid rabbit.

You headed to the dining hall door, hesitating for a moment as your hands began to shake a little. He had gone out of his mind and honestly, though you'd never admit it out loud, he was quite frightening. With a deep breath, you twisted the handle and stepped inside, seeing the albino boy laying across the room from you, smiling menacingly. He looked like someone who belonged in an asylum, honestly.

You slowly walked over to him, making sure not to drop anything, but his gaze was directly on you the whole time, causing you to feel a little insecure. You sat down next to him and placed the tray down beside him, before quickly jerking your hand away out of instinct.

"Hey, [name]... Just the person I've been wanting to see..." Nagito smiled.

"I, uh- Why's that?" You asked, falling straight into his trap. Sometimes you wished you weren't as näive.

"You're my best friend, remember? We are always together..." His eyes were large and transfixed on your own ones that never seemed to make contact. You knew that if you looked at him you'd become a cherry-faced, stuttering mess.

"I came here to bring you food, see?" You said, poking the edge of the tray.

"Thank you! You are very considerate of me! I'm not quite hungry yet, though. I want to talk to you!" He chuckled, his grey orbs sparkling in an insane sort of way. You couldn't find the words to answer with, so instead stayed quiet. "What? Are you scared of me, now?" He said, hints of amusement in his voice.

"No, I just- Nagito, what happened to you?" You asked, frowning.

"Me? Oh, nothing at all! I just wanted you people to become the shining stars of hope deep inside you!"

"Not this hope thing again." You thought aloud, rolling your eyes. Nagito chuckled slightly at your reply before staying quiet after that. Well, for a few minutes anyway.

"Do you... Hate me... Too?"

You stayed quiet for a moment, thinking of a reply. No matter how much you wanted to hate him, you couldn't. And you didn't feel like lying to him either. You'd learned that lying made you look bad.

"N-No." You stammered, staring at the ground.

"Really?" His eyes lit up. You nodded once. "You went out of your way to find hope for me when a piece of trash like me doesn't even deserve it!" He was still smiling when he said that and in his menacing tone, but you could feel the meaning behind it. He hated himself more than all of the others put together, and you couldn't help but feel sorry for him.

"You're not a piece of trash." You said, crossing your arms with yet another scoff.

"You're just saying that. We all know I am." He grinned sadly.

"You're not! Don't you get that? You're not trash... Not to me..." You sighed, your cheeks turning pink.

"Such hope! It's truly magnificent how much hope lies within you!" Nagito praised, his bangs falling over some of his face as he turned his head to look at you.

"Um, sure, whatever you say." You said awkwardly.

"But then again... Your fall and would bring so much despair it could be almost impossible to escape from it!" He continued, disregarding your previous comment. He pondered with his thoughts for a few moments, mumbling a few things to himself. Then, he finished talking before looking up at you again.

"Hey, [name]. Do you think that maybe you could move some of this hair out of my face? It's quite annoying and my hands aren't really free at the minute." The white-haired boy chuckled a little, glancing at his arms which were chained up behind his back.

'What a strange request...' was the first thought that came into your head as you were kind of taken aback. Maybe, it couldn't hurt just to help him out. Surely you'd be annoyed if you couldn't move your hair from your face.

"U-Um, okay, Nagito!" You giggled nervously, shuffling closer to him so you were looking directly above him.

You slowly lowered your head to his face, brushing his hair from his face and back into where it should've been. He stared at you intensely the whole time, a grin gracing his pale lips. You probably should've noticed how red you felt yourself getting, but it happened so often that there was no point any more of even reminding yourself of your tomato-coloured face.

Both of your hands lay on his cheeks before you could even think about it. You were staring deeply into his cloudy grey eyes, not able to drive your attention away.

"Nagito..." You mumbled without even realizing.

Your head slowly traveled downwards within seconds before your no-fun conscience got the better of you. Komaeda's eyes widened slightly, anticipating your next action. Your warm lips met his, pressing against them softly, making a light pink blush dust over his pale cheeks. Despite being inexperienced as you certainly weren't the best when it came to boys, he apparently liked it as you felt him kiss back, a little rougher than you. After a few seconds that seemed like years, you pulled back.

At this point, you should've felt guilty. You just kissed a guy - from your own will - that tried to kill someone and turned out being some sort of psycho not long ago. But the thing was, you pushed that good, responsible side of you away, and let the more rebellious one take over. You didn't feel one bit sorry for kissing him. In fact, you were smiling like an idiot, giggling at points.

"I'm not sure what that was, but I didn't mind it at all," Nagito smiled, lost in thought. "No one has ever showed me affection like that before."

"N-Nagito... I, um, I know I shouldn't but, uh, I like you?" You meant to say it as a statement, but the amount of stuttering you did ended up making it sound like a question.

"Hehe, isn't it obvious I like you too? However, I'm just too worthless to be with with you... Isn't that right?"

"You being worthless is about as likely as Akane never eating again; it's not possible." You said, pursing your lips tightly, wishing he wouldn't put himself down like that.

"I suppose... I'll believe you if it makes you happy... But, I have a question for you..." He replied, his sentences slow with pauses between which sprang some curiosity in you.

"Go on..." You smiled weakly, making circles with your hand as a gesture for him to continue.

A small smirk played on his lips. "Well... Could you maybe... Untie me? Or is that the kind of thing you're into...?"

-You decide what happens from that point onwards. If you know what I mean. *Wink wink*-
[Super Dangan Ronpa 2] [Nagito x Reader] Some feelings simply cannot be helped. He may be some crazy, hope-obessed pyscho, but you just couldn't bring yourself to hate him. Not even dislike him, actually. Maybe you were just as insane as him, after all...
